Meet Megan

Hi there! My name is Megan Long and I am the Owner and Artistic Director of The Introspect Experience. I started visioning and dreaming about this intensive late 2018 and launched introspect the summer of 2019. I felt an urge to design a unique experience that gave pre-professional dancers an outlet to find their own artistic voice and discover who they are as a mover and creator. I found that dancers weren't getting opportunities to connect with their minds and bodies in an authentic and true way. So after a lot of hard work and passion, The Introspect Experience was born. I have the privilege to help awaken dancers' sense of self-love and self-discovery they didn't know they had. Learn more about me below!

Artistic Mission

Megan values creating movement that evokes a sense of self-awareness and personal discovery. Megan strives to connect deeply with the dancers she works with and the audiences they impact. She delves into ideas that push fellow artists to look within and search for what drives them as authentic human beings. She believes that in order to understand the world we live in, we must begin by understanding ourselves.
